On Eagles Wings Foundation (U.S.A.)

Implemented by:
Ventures & Entrepreneurship Development
Center in the Orient Inc. (Vedcor)
YLEC is a six-month course consisting of intensive, 4-hour once-a-month classroom instruction followed by a do-it-yourself practicum in between the monthly classroom instructions.

The YLEC Product Launch is part of the practicum session of the course. It aims to enable YLEC trainees to market test the products they themselves designed and produced.

AT THE YLEC PRODUCT LAUNCH. Ptr. Boy Gruta, Senior Pastor of Jesus the Crown of Glory Church and Coordinator of Caloocan Ministries Association (CAMIA) District 1 leads the Opening Prayer. Ptr Gruta’s church is one of the sending churches of YLEC participants. An estimated 200 people participated comprising YLEC exhibitors & trainees, schoolmates, friends and relatives, community members, walk-in buyers & customers, & some Bayanihan Financial Center officers & members.

Ptr. Boy Gruta, assisted by Jojo Padilla, Chairman & Managing Director of Ventures & Entrepreneurship Development Center in the Orient (Vedcor) Inc., cuts the ribbon to officially open the product launch

The YLEC Product Launch tested the marketability of products developed by YLEC participants themselves. Each “young entrepreneur” creates a unique approach in marketing his/her own product. Products launched included 9 home-made food products and 4 personal effects & souvenir items.

Not all YLEC trainees succeeded in developing a marketable product. But those who did not have a product threw their wholehearted support to those who launched their products.
